Measuring principle:
Biolog Redox Dye Mixes are easy-to-use colorimetric reagents. They contain a tetrazolium-based reagent that can be reduced to a soluble purple formazan product by live cells in a variety of media. The amount of formazan is measured photometrically at 590nm directly in microwell assay plates without additional processing.
